I am also glad that Jay-Z has decided not to use the word bitch and hope others will follow suit. However, it is only a very small step in the right direction for him to take as an idol to so many people. And you’re right, his demeaning music still delivers his old message.

Before I begin, allow me to point out what many others have or will be pointing out soon – this is a terrible case on which to debate this issue. The law is simple. The case is simple. We should find cases of with actual merit to discuss the matter.

You don’t have to be “innocent” for stalking and harassment to be illegal. There are numerous unethical and immoral people, but there is no Con Artist Clause in our justice system. Even if everything you mentioned was true, it is still illegal to stalk and harass that person. They are two completely separate matters. Her alleged behaviors do not justify his alleged behaviors. Our legal system shouldn’t have the freedom to decide whether or not someone is “worthy” enough to be protected by the law. That individual could be the most despicable individual in the world and they still entitled to the same protection under the law. Based on the information available, it appears that at the very least it was harassment, if not stalking. If there are other concerns about potential legal behaviors, those need to be addressed through the legal system, not through stalking and harassment behaviors.

I agree with you as far as principle but in this specific situation (once you know all of the details) you will find that there was no harassment of any real significance. I am not condoning the behavior of either party in this situation, but if you knew more about the “teacher” you might find yourself agreeing somewhat to some of the points in the “stalker’s” tweets. This is not a case where an innocent person has been truly threatened.

This woman is hand-in-hand with her “stalker” in being unethical, a fraud, and basically a con woman. She is supposedly a leader, a teach, someone to look up to, who sets an example of how to behave. Try this one (just one of her many secrets). There was a 13 year old boy in her group of followers, brought be his mother. He began coming along with his mother when he was about 7. At age 13, the “teacher” gave him another name in a ceremony and took a special interest in him. (NOTE – she is at least 30 years his senior). When he was 17, he followed her to Arizona and barely attended school, not even graduating. He cannot even spell the word doctor correctly (he spells it “dockter”) When he turned 18, their sexual relationship came to be known about by members of the group. The “teacher” used her skills to convince her followers that she was helping him spiritually when she was simply helping herself to him.

There are many, many more situations in which he behavior has been unethical not to mention, bordering on criminal.

Well done! Mind you, as a transwoman I’m so lucky that I was wearing flats which made it easier for me to run to safety when a group of men tried to attack me as i returned from class one evening. If I’d by chance been wearing heels I might well not be here to tell you this.
